České úřady již vydaly více než 200 000 zvláštních víz pro ukrajinské uprchlíky, informovalo o tom 20. března Ministerstvo vnitra na svých oficiálních stránkách.
„Od začátku vojenských akcí na Ukrajině dostalo 200 852 uprchlíků z Ukrajiny zvláštní víza k pobytu v republice. Z toho 107,8 tisíce lidí je již registrováno na cizinecké policii, konkrétně v sobotu – 2139 osob, “uvádí tisková služba odboru.
Česká média přitom píší, že v zemi je asi 300 000 uprchlíků z Ukrajiny.
Předseda vlády Petr Fiala už dříve na brífinku řekl, že republika téměř vyčerpala své kapacity pro přijímání uprchlíků. Země podle něj není schopna současně pojmout více než 2 % vlastní populace, což je 10,7 milionu lidí. Šéf vlády slíbil, že nebude vyžadovat fyzické přerozdělování lidí do jiných zemí EU, ale rád by v této věci získal finanční pomoc od členů Commonwealthu.
Je známo, že nejčastěji uprchlíci přijíždějí autobusy do Prahy a také do Středočeského a Jihomoravského kraje. Poté jsou některé z nich odeslány do jiných regionů země, kde je stále možné je umístit.
